Who is behind this

Ceo is a fictional business. This website is a demonstration by Dividendo, Iván Cárdenas’s web design studio in Killarney (Ireland), to show guesthouse and B&B owners what their website could do.

At a real guesthouse, this section shows the owner’s name or company name, address, email, CRO number and VAT number if they have one and, where Irish law requires it, their short-term tourist letting registration number.

Bookings and prices

Prices, availability, dishes and terms are examples. No booking or voucher on this website is real or charged.

Privacy

This demo sends the details you type into its forms nowhere: they stay in your browser. The demo panel stores test bookings in your browser’s local storage; you can delete them from the panel or by clearing the site’s data.

At a real guesthouse: the controller is the owner; booking details (name, email, dates, message) are used only to handle the booking, under contract performance (GDPR art. 6.1.b), and kept for as long as Irish tax law requires. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability, and you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Cookies

This website uses no cookies or analytics and loads nothing from other companies: no fonts, embedded maps or videos. That’s why there is no cookie banner.

It only stores in your browser, without cookies, your breakfast card choice while you book and the demo panel data.

Photos of the rooms, breakfast and objects are from Unsplash and are examples: they are not of a real guesthouse. Photos of the Reeks, Caragh Lake, Rossbeigh and the area show real places, from Unsplash and Wikimedia Commons, with author and licence in each page’s footer.
